About fibreglass flat roofing.

Glass fibre or GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) was first invented in the 1940's and first used for the manufacture of Ray Domes (Housing for early radar equipment). Soon after, the first GRP Roof Lights were made and are still in use today, 60 years later, still keeping out the elements far beyond the original design life of the roof.

In later years GRP went on to revolutionise the boat industry and has demonstrated its ability to form a structure that will perform for decades with no degradation - in the worst possible environments - all over the world. In recent years GRP has been adopted as a flat roofing medium in place of bitumen based products.

Using the very latest in GRP technology the Flexiseal® liquid and dry applied systems are quick and easy to install and have the optional benefit of incorporating integral insulation boards into the system.

GRP has already demonstrated enormous benefits and is now specified throughout the UK at a rate of over 10 million square metres of flat roof area per year. FuturA RooF have utilised vast experience in the GRP flat roofing industry to design and develop Flexiseal®, unique dry & wet applied GRP flat roof waterproofing membranes.

Using the very latest in GRP technology the system is quick and easy to install and has the optional benefit of incorporating integral insulation boards into the system. The end product is a lightweight, highly durable, cost effective flat roof construction that will last the lifetime of the building.
